Risley Village Memorial Hall Extension (update - April 2013)
Risley Village Hall held it's opening ceremony on April 13th to celebrate the extension of the committee room & kitchen. Mr Ernest Tryner a long serving committee member for many years gave an opening speech thanking committee members who had worked over many months to make this achievable. He also thanked BIFFA for their grant of £50,000 which made it all possible.

Carnaby Rocks a 60s tribute band provided the music which around 160 people attended.

The hall is available for hire and with the extra space can now accommodate up to 200 people which is ideal for weddings and parties of any kind.

Regular user groups of the hall are delighted with the improvements and continued to use the hall despite the noise and building work going on around them.

We hold regular events during the year which are open to the public and always well attended, details can be found on Risley Parish web site, the next event is Saturday June 22nd QUIZ NIGHT. Details of the hall can be obtained by calling Lynn on 0115 9395551.
